Colin MacDonald

I am an independent filmmaker and picture editor with over ten years of film and television broadcast experience. My latest short films Stitches (2022), and Hangnail (2020) have screened at over fifty festivals and picked up over twenty awards including Best Short Horror, Best Cinematography, Directing and Editing. My creative skills as an editor has secured me the position as lead editor and colorist on a number of broadcast series including Home Shores, The Motherload, and Past And The Curious. My passion lies in collaborating on documentary and narrative films that have a strong focus on character and story and that strive for creative and innovative ways of evoking emotion in the audience.
